About the role

As a Public Relations Associate at Rocket, you will craft and share compelling stories that shape how audiences perceive the brand. You will work closely with internal teams to develop PR programs that boost brand awareness, secure earned media, and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute public relations campaigns that generate earned media coverage and strengthen brand reputation.
• Identify story opportunities aligned with Rocket’s narrative and business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry contacts.
• Write press releases, articles, and pitch ideas to secure media placements and speaking opportunities.
• Plan and coordinate press tours, conferences, events, and award submissions.
• Monitor media coverage, track PR metrics, and report on campaign performance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand voice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for storytelling.
• Demonstrated experience creating and executing public relations campaigns.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
