Public Relations Associate

About the role

Mission North is seeking a Public Relations Associate to support its portfolio of high‑growth technology clients. You will craft pitches, manage media outreach, and help shape award and speaking opportunities that directly impact client business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑quality pitches, executive briefing documents, speaking abstracts, and award submissions.
• Contribute fresh ideas to campaign plans, news hooks, and seasonal trends.
• Build and maintain hyper‑targeted media and influencer lists using platforms such as Muck Rack, Cision, or Propel.
• Monitor media coverage, analyze results, and produce monthly/quarterly coverage reports aligned with client KPIs.
• Proactively pitch media and influencers, develop relationships, and expand client share of voice.
• Own end‑to‑end management of speaking and awards programs, including deadline tracking and results reporting.
• Conduct daily media monitoring for clients, competitors, and industry shifts.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of communications or PR experience, preferably with technology companies.
• Experience working with clients; agency background is a plus but not required.
• Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
