Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time)

About the role

As a full‑time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at TASC, you will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping individuals recover from substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health conditions. You will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrated behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for new and existing patients.
• Diagnose and treat mental health and substance‑use disorders using evidence‑based practices.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications, including Medication‑Assisted Treatment when appropriate.
• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, case managers, and nursing staff.
• Provide ongoing medication management, patient education, and crisis response.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate care across providers.

Required profile

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in outpatient behavioral health.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and manage psychotropic medication regimens.
• Experience working with individuals who have substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health conditions.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
