About the role
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking a Project/Program Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for campus‑wide initiatives. This professional staff position will coordinate project planning, execution, and evaluation to support the university’s mission and growth.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement project and program plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with institutional goals.
- Monitor progress, prepare status reports, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with university policies, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in project or program management, preferably in higher education.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
