Project Supervisor – Facilities Cleaning Team Lead

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a full‑time, permanent Project Supervisor to lead cleaning operations across multiple locations within a defined geographic area. The role combines hands‑on cleaning work with team leadership, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cleaning crew and perform cleaning tasks at various sites, including floors, carpets, windows, walls, and restrooms.
• Coordinate schedules, communicate timelines, and ensure work is finished within established deadlines.
• Handle minor wall repairs, furniture polishing, and waste collection.
• Move furniture and equipment manually or with hand carts as needed.
• Maintain safety by following chemical and electrical equipment procedures, securing doors after hours, and checking for hazards.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of building maintenance, cleaning procedures, and related safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain tools and perform basic equipment repairs.
• Effective verbal and written communication, with good time‑management and prioritisation skills.
• Proven capability to resolve issues quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
• Leadership experience in a complex, task‑oriented cleaning operation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of proper use of chemical cleaners and electrical cleaning equipment.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and tool maintenance.
