Project Manager, Workforce Development & Industry Program

About the role

The Texas A&M Semiconductor Institute is seeking a Project Manager to lead statewide semiconductor workforce initiatives. This role coordinates education, training, and industry partners to align programs with the needs of the semiconductor sector across Texas.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of complex, multi‑institution workforce initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities among universities, community and technical colleges, industry partners, workforce organizations, government agencies, funded partners, and contractors.
• Serve as primary liaison among partners, sponsors, internal leadership, and participating institutions to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Support governance activities, working groups, and steering committees.
• Assist with grant development, funding management, and compliance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑partner projects, preferably in education or industry settings.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor industry workforce needs.
• Ability to collaborate with academic institutions, industry, and government entities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
