Project Manager – Research Security

About the role

Under general direction, the Project Manager for Research Security oversees project activities across key research security functions, such as export control, sanctions, controlled unclassified information, and undue foreign influence. The role involves developing, implementing, and tracking timelines and deliverables while providing regular evaluations and reports to senior system research security leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project portfolios in line with business strategies and project‑management standards.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings to schedule and coordinate project activities.
• Coordinate resources with resource holders and other project managers.
• Ensure project quality control and assurance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of related project‑management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to multitask.
• Experience working in a complex, system‑level organization.
