Project Manager – Multifamily Construction

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Project Manager to lead a $130 million multifamily wrap project in Chamlee, GA. The role oversees the full lifecycle of construction and new‑development initiatives, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, plans and blueprints; contribute to hard‑cost estimates and develop project budgets.
• Define staffing needs, assign internal team members and subcontractors, and manage day‑to‑day execution.
• Lead project planning meetings, establish scope, timelines and construction schedules.
• Prepare bid packages, evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate and administer contracts.
• Approve change orders and plan revisions, keeping documentation, schedules and budgets up to date.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies, building codes, permits and other regulatory requirements.
• Provide regular status updates to business leaders, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Recruit, onboard, train and supervise project team members in line with company values.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor progress and adjust plans, schedules or resources as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction or multifamily development projects.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and contract administration.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
