Project Manager

About the role

Stimulus Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead grant‑funded fiber‑deployment projects across Missouri. The role oversees the full project lifecycle from design kickoff through construction and final network turnover, ensuring compliance with state and federal grant requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master schedules covering design, permitting, construction, drop installation, testing and turnover.
• Coordinate dependencies among engineering firms, construction contractors and internal crews to avoid downstream delays.
• Monitor and enforce grant‑mandated timelines, reporting deadlines and milestone requirements.
• Manage scope changes, evaluate cost and schedule impacts, and control change orders.
• Track contractor performance against SOW and contract terms, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare and update budget forecasts, track actual costs and report variances.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, define roles and communication cadences for all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure projects, preferably fiber or telecommunications builds.
• Strong understanding of grant compliance, funding milestones and public accountability.
• Ability to balance competing priorities across engineering, construction and internal teams.
• Excellent risk‑management and decision‑making skills with a focus on budget and schedule adherence.
