Project Manager

About the role

JRM is seeking an experienced Project Manager to serve as the primary liaison between clients, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors. The role focuses on overseeing project administration, document control, and financial oversight for large‑scale construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for clients, design teams, consultants, and subcontractors throughout all project phases.
• Lead project administration tasks including document control, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and close‑out documentation.
• Prepare, review, and track budgets, forecasts, and cost reports in coordination with senior leadership and accounting.
• Manage financial controls such as change orders, billing, receivables, lien releases, and subcontractor payments.
• Develop and maintain the project schedule with the Superintendent, aligning phasing, long‑lead items, and procurement timelines.
• Coordinate daily construction activities with field staff, monitor quality, and mitigate delays.
• Identify and manage project risks, delays, and claims, maintaining detailed records and communicating updates.
• Support senior leadership on project strategy, staffing, and high‑level decisions.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects up to $10 M or serve as lead PM on larger projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects of up to $10 M.
• Strong ability to work independently and coordinate with field staff and senior leadership.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder updates and issue resolution.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance, safety, and contract requirements.
