Project Manager

About the role

WSP is seeking a Project Manager for its South Jordan, UT office to join the Earth & Environment team. You will lead moderate‑size, regional projects, ensuring they meet client objectives while adhering to safety, quality, and profitability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams to deliver multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop project proposals, cost estimates, scopes, schedules, and resource plans.
• Create and maintain work breakdown structures (WBS) and associated cost estimates.
• Drive technical reviews in line with the Project Quality Plan and document outcomes.
• Perform margin analyses, set margin goals, and manage risk contingencies.
• Prepare and update project initiation documents such as Risk Management, Project Management, Quality, Safety, and Communications Plans.
• Collaborate with Project Accounting to monitor budgets, cash flow, and forecasted margins.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, and change management.
• Provide regular status reports to clients, technical leads, and business unit managers, highlighting scope, risk, or budget issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Strong ability to manage financial, technical, client‑satisfaction, quality, safety, and schedule aspects of projects.
• Excellent coordination skills across cross‑functional teams and external subcontractors.
• Experience preparing project documentation and conducting technical reviews.
