Project Manager

About the role

H&H, a nationally recognized infrastructure engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium‑value or moderately complex projects from the New York City office. You will oversee the full project life cycle, ensuring quality, technical compliance, and financial performance while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of medium‑value or moderately complex projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Supervise project teams, track deliverables, and monitor finances.
• Ensure all activities comply with the Quality Management Plan and firm technical policies.
• Participate in proposal development, preparing scopes, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate work‑sharing assignments across business units and present project updates to clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in New York.
• Minimum 12 years of engineering experience, with a focus on design (structural preferred).
• Prior experience as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Deputy Project Manager, or Design Manager.
• Familiarity with alternate delivery methods and local agencies such as NYSDOT, NYCDOT, MTA, PANYNJ, or NYCDDC.
