Project Manager

About the role

OHLA USA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring projects stay on schedule and budget, and providing senior management with accurate status updates and profit forecasts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, including CPM updates and schedule analysis.
• Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements and documentation processes.
• Monitor invoice processing, approve subcontractor payment requisitions, and lead coordination meetings.
• Support Quality and Safety Engineers, participate in project audits, and ensure shop drawing and As‑Built drawing development aligns with schedules.
• Mentor the project team on contractual obligations and evaluate construction methods.
• Assist with estimating bids, proposals, change orders, and engage in technical discussions.
• Lead the project team, evaluate project data for anomalies, and coordinate with legal and senior leadership for compliance.
• Provide on‑site support in field offices and active construction sites as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 10‑14 years of construction project management experience.
• Advanced understanding of construction methodologies and subcontractor trades.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective team leadership and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to work both in the field office and on‑site.
