Project Manager IV

About the role

Oceaneering Group Enterprise is seeking a senior Project Manager (IV) to lead complex maritime and shipboard programs. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex programs, ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and business ethics.
• Lead a team of project managers, assign tasks, and set clear expectations.
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter‑connected projects and coordinate cross‑project activities.
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and resources while applying change, risk, and resource management.
• Assess program performance, maximize ROI, and resolve higher‑scope issues.
• Prepare reports for program directors and collaborate with Business Development on new initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned and suggesting process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline (preferred).
• 10+ years of project management experience in shipboard systems or maritime environments.
• Experience working with business stakeholders in a matrixed, projectized setting.
• PMP/CAPM (or government equivalent) certification or ability to obtain within 3 years.
• Current Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Technical writing and editing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office products.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6, EVMS, MS Project.
• Familiarity with contract comprehension, FAR/DFAR regulations.
• CAD software experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).
