Project Manager – In‑House Operations

About the role

By Landmark is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead its in‑house operations team. Based in Plainfield, NJ, the role oversees end‑to‑end delivery of hospitality construction projects, from pre‑construction planning through Certificate of Occupancy and opening.

Key responsibilities

• Own full project lifecycle for capital programs, remodels, expansions and renovations, ensuring alignment with design intent, brand standards and operational timelines.
• Lead pre‑construction activities including scope definition, budgeting, permitting strategy, trade coordination and schedule creation.
• Coordinate daily activities of in‑house trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sprinkler) and conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and quality.
• Develop and manage project budgets, track actuals, approve invoices and oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
• Utilize Procore, Raken and Microsoft Planner for documentation, reporting and schedule management, and apply AI tools to improve workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurant, hotel or mixed‑use environments.
• Proven ability to manage in‑house trade teams and deliver projects from permit application through Certificate of Occupancy.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, code compliance and finishes (millwork, tile, stone, paint, FF&E).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend ~50% of time traveling to project sites.
