Project Manager – Industrial Painting & Blasting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large‑scale industrial painting and abrasive blasting projects for a client in the LNG sector. The role involves full responsibility for planning, execution, safety compliance and delivery of high‑quality coating works.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, manpower, equipment and material requirements.
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of crews, equipment and supplies.
• Sequence blasting, coating application, curing and inspection activities to meet project timelines.
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules and manage budgets, forecasts and cost reports.
• Track labor hours, equipment usage and material consumption, identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
• Manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation and client approval.
• Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies and proper use of PPE.
• Conduct job hazard analyses, toolbox talks and oversee confined‑space entry, hot‑work permits and hazardous containment.
• Provide regular project updates, progress reports and schedule forecasts to clients.
• Supervise direct reports and coordinate subcontractors and specialty services.

Required profile

• 10+ years of industrial experience, preferably in the oil & gas or LNG sector.
• 5+ years directly involved in industrial painting, coating or abrasive blasting projects.
• Proven ability to manage large budgets, complex schedules and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, SSPC and NACE standards.
