Project Manager III – Operations, Test & Evaluation

About the role

The Autonomy Research Institute at Texas A&M University‑Corpus Christi seeks a Project Manager III to lead operations, test, and evaluation activities for complex research projects funded by government and private sponsors. This role blends project management expertise with hands‑on coordination of multidomain testing across air, land, water, and space environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and lead regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor detailed project schedules, budgets, and performance milestones.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for research and operational testing.
• Coordinate range services and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Serve as the primary interface between project stakeholders and ARI operational crews.
• Support long‑term operational planning and act as deputy to the Project Director, OTE.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex research or test projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work with government and industry partners.
• Experience in multidomain (air, land, water, space) operations preferred.
