Project Manager - HVAC

About the role

We are a growing mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial plumbing and HVAC projects. The role involves overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing/HVAC projects from initial planning to completion.
• Review and negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking milestones.
• Manage project budgets and provide regular financial updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other construction professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve issues that could affect timelines or budgets.
• Communicate progress and address client concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor work quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Promote a safety‑focused work environment and lead by example.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar construction role.
• Proven track record managing commercial plumbing projects ranging from $50 k to $25 M.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Demonstrated ability to review and negotiate contracts.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Solid budget management and financial reporting skills.
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of construction management principles.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to workplace safety; relevant plumbing or construction qualifications are a plus.
