Project Manager / Estimator – Water & Wastewater Treatment

About the role

The company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager/Estimator to lead the planning, estimating, and delivery of water and wastewater treatment infrastructure projects. This position blends civil construction project management with technical estimating, requiring deep knowledge of environmental infrastructure and public utility systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, tanks, clarifiers, filtration and chemical feed facilities.
• Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, controls and instrumentation scopes to ensure seamless execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, budgets and cost controls.
• Conduct regular site visits, overseeing quality, safety, schedule adherence and production.
• Analyze plans, specifications and bid documents to produce accurate estimates and detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Solicit, evaluate and level subcontractor and vendor proposals; prepare competitive bid packages.
• Participate in value‑engineering and constructability reviews to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to protect cost and schedule.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, pipelines, tanks, clarifiers, filtration systems and chemical feed facilities.
• Proven ability to manage complex civil infrastructure projects from conception through completion.
• Experience collaborating with owners, municipalities, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and inspectors.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for public utility projects.
