Project Manager – Data Center Solutions

About the role

ETAP is looking for an execution‑focused Project Manager to lead delivery of real‑time microgrid control and power‑management solutions for hyperscale and colocation data‑center clients in Houston, TX. The role owns projects from contract signing through design, factory acceptance testing, site acceptance testing, commissioning and final acceptance, acting as the primary client interface.

Key responsibilities

• Own full project execution across scope, schedule, budget and contract, ensuring delivery through all lifecycle phases (design → FAT → SAT → commissioning → acceptance).
• Make decisions on schedule, scope, commercial outcomes and acceptance readiness while engineering teams maintain technical integrity.
• Lead project reviews, coordinate witness testing, manage escalations and drive risk and change management.
• Track financial performance, payment milestones, invoicing and cash‑flow against contractual deliverables.
• Communicate with hyperscale/colocation owners, commissioning agents, general contractors and utility stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex, mission‑critical projects in live electrical environments.
• Ability to assess technical risk, challenge assumptions and translate technical realities into commercial decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and decision‑making skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 % to project sites.
