Project Manager – D (Electrical Power Projects)

About the role

The Project Manager – D will coordinate and deliver electrical power distribution projects for a range of customers. This service‑oriented professional ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety standards while identifying value‑added opportunities for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Order materials, perform project take‑off, and develop accurate estimates.
• Manage subcontractors through purchase orders and agreements.
• Schedule jobs with customers, generate work orders, and track deliveries to keep projects on track.
• Produce detailed progress reports and provide technical support for testing and troubleshooting of low‑ and medium‑voltage equipment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and vendors to resolve issues and expand project scope.
• Oversee field supervision, travel planning, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.

Required profile

• Organized, service‑focused individual with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, nights, and out‑of‑town assignments.
• Proven experience in managing electrical power equipment projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Low‑Voltage and Medium‑Voltage electrical power equipment operation.
• Insulation Resistance Testing.
• Primary and Secondary Injection Testing.
• Contact/Pole Resistance Testing.
• Mechanical operation of breakers.
• Current transformer and potential transformer testing.
• Knowledge of NETA, PEARL, and ANSI testing standards.
• Ability to read complex one‑line schematics and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
