Project Manager – Construction & Building Envelope Consulting

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead construction and building‑envelope consulting projects for a rapidly growing multidisciplinary engineering firm. The role involves ownership of projects from pre‑construction planning through closeout, working with multifamily, commercial and institutional properties across several states.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre‑construction planning through construction closeout.
• Conduct site inspections, field observations, and progress assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, ownership groups and internal teams.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, cash‑flow tracking and reporting.
• Review construction documents, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and change orders.
• Support contractor procurement, bid review and proposal evaluations.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with project documents, codes and standards.

Required profile

• Experienced Project Managers or Construction Consultants with a background in construction management, building‑envelope consulting, civil/site work, restoration or engineering consulting.
• Comfortable managing budgets, schedules, meetings and contractor coordination.
• Ability to serve as primary point of contact for clients, contractors, boards and project teams.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced consulting environment and can handle multiple moving pieces simultaneously.
