Project Manager – Commercial Construction

About the role

We are a well‑established commercial general contractor in the Greater St. Louis area seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from pre‑construction through close‑out. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality projects on time, within budget, and with strong client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, from kickoff to final close‑out.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
• Lead subcontractor selection, buyout, and contract negotiations.
• Oversee daily execution to ensure quality, safety, and timeline adherence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with field teams, superintendents, and internal departments.
• Identify and resolve issues proactively to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and scheduling.
• Experience with ground‑up builds and/or renovations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam or similar construction document tools.
