About the role
The University of Miami’s UHealth campus is seeking a full‑time Project Manager to lead clinical research and regulatory initiatives. In this role you will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trial projects, ensuring compliance with university and regulatory standards. You will serve as the central point of contact for principal investigators, ensuring that all regulatory and operational aspects of studies are aligned with institutional policies.
Key responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives and success metrics in collaboration with leadership.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and resource allocations.
- Monitor project progress, adjust schedules, and resolve protocol issues.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to multidisciplinary project teams and ensure proper orientation.
- Maintain project documentation, communication schedules and stakeholder updates.
- Prepare status presentations and reports for senior leadership.
- Assist with research budget preparation, contract management and tracking of CDAs.
- Ensure compliance with university and unit‑level policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing clinical research or regulatory projects.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial regulations and protocol development.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with investigators.
- Experience preparing budgets, contracts and monitoring financial disbursements.
