Project Executive – Commercial Construction

About the role

The Project Executive leads the performance of commercial construction projects, overseeing client relations, estimation, and the full project lifecycle across multiple teams. Reporting to senior leadership, this role combines strategic direction with hands‑on management to ensure successful delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and develop business strategies for the organization.
• Oversee multiple construction teams through pre‑construction and construction phases.
• Manage project performance including financials, schedule, execution, and client satisfaction.
• Ensure adequate staffing, support employee development, recruiting, and retention.
• Champion Kiewit’s safety culture and the “Nobody Gets Hurt” commitment.
• Conduct market research, identify new business opportunities, and build client relationships.
• Lead contract negotiations, proposal development, and community partnership initiatives.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in vertical construction management.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction.
• Strong leadership, staffing, and employee development skills.
• Experience in business development and client relationship management.
