Project Engineer – Mission Critical

About the role

Alston Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support mission‑critical projects in either Tulsa, OK or Harlingen, TX. The role blends estimating, pre‑construction, project management, and field supervision to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Review contract documents, design specifications, and subcontractor submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in developing project proposals, budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Prepare Invitations to Bid, perform quantity take‑offs, and develop cost estimates.
• Support job‑site start‑up, coordinate subcontractors, maintain daily reports, safety logs, and cost coding.
• Help generate monthly payment applications and track project financials.
