Project Engineer

About the role

Moog is seeking a Project Engineer to support its Military Aircraft Group. The role focuses on managing supplier quality development milestones and ensuring timely delivery of flight‑control components for military platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor Supplier Quality Development (SQD) part milestones, including audits, Part Risk Assessments (PRAs) and PPAP elements.
• Coordinate Make‑to‑Buy, Buy‑to‑Buy and New Product Introduction (NPI) parts to meet schedule and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and improve PRA and PPAP processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure complete and compliant documentation for each component.
• Provide hands‑on supplier support, conduct root‑cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Act as backup Manufacturing Engineer when needed.
• Communicate SQD updates to cross‑functional teams and travel up to 15% to support suppliers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing engineering experience and 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to work with United States export‑controlled information.
