Project Development Manager

About the role

East Point Energy is seeking a Project Development Manager to lead the development of utility‑scale energy storage projects across key RTO/ISO markets. This high‑impact position combines team leadership with hands‑on project execution, reporting directly to the VP of Project Development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a cross‑functional team of Project Developers and Development Engineers across one or more RTO/ISO regions.
• Oversee the full development lifecycle for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and portfolio priorities.
• Manage project schedules, development budgets, risk registers, and milestone tracking at the portfolio level.
• Coordinate with Business Development, Policy, Community Engagement, Finance, and senior leadership to support valuation, regulatory monitoring, stakeholder outreach, and funding approvals.
• Integrate internal and external subject‑matter experts to drive disciplined, efficient, and holistic project development.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading project development teams in the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to successful completion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated capability to work in a player‑coach capacity, balancing leadership with individual contribution.
