Project Developer – Energy & Nuclear Microreactors

About the role

Radiant, a startup developing portable nuclear microreactors, is seeking a Project Developer to lead the delivery of reactors to contracted customers. Based in El Segundo, CA, you will own the end‑to‑end process from contract award through on‑site deployment, coordinating with licensing, engineering, manufacturing and customer teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive successful delivery of reactor projects for government and commercial customers, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget execution.
• Manage regulatory, engineering and siting deliverables, and maintain integrated master schedules and cost baselines.
• Serve as primary interface with contracting officers, program offices, installation personnel, and end users for government projects, and with project sponsors, site leads and operations personnel for commercial projects.
• Oversee contract compliance, milestone reporting, billing, and support negotiations for modifications and change orders.
• Identify, assess and mitigate programmatic risks and cross‑functional dependencies.
• Establish and refine project‑management processes, tools and reporting cadence to provide visibility to leadership and customers.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in energy project development, project management, or a related field.
• Proven track record delivering complex capital equipment or large‑scale industrial systems.
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate regulatory environments.
