Project Coordinator – Internal Medicine Service Line

About the role

The Project Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to the Internal Medicine Service Line (IMSL) and assists the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL) at UAMS. This role ensures smooth clinic and service‑line operations through schedule management, procurement, and communication across teams and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project and clinic activities, schedule meetings, assign tasks, and support daily workflow.
• Monitor deadlines, deliverables, and report on project and clinic status.
• Maintain organized records, meeting notes, project files, and service‑line documentation.
• Order supplies, manage inventory, process invoices, and support accounts payable.
• Maintain staff credentials, schedules, payroll support, and coverage coordination.
• Handle procurement contracts, equipment maintenance records, and service contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health, business, or a related field, or high school diploma plus four years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and repetitive motions as part of clinic operations.
