Project Coordinator for Internal Medicine Service Line

About the role

The Project Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Internal Medicine Service Line (IMSL) and assists the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL) at UAMS. This role ensures smooth clinic operations, manages project documentation, and coordinates communication among teams, vendors, and leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic schedules, meetings, and task assignments; monitor deadlines and deliverables.
• Maintain organized records, project files, service line documentation, and staff credential files.
• Process accounts payable, invoice tracking, and support daily charge reconciliation.
• Order supplies, manage inventory, and oversee procurement contracts and equipment maintenance.
• Support payroll activities, timekeeping review, and staff coverage scheduling.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related field, or high school diploma plus four years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks, maintain detailed records, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
