Project Coordinator – Cardiovascular Service Line

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL) and assist the Internal Medicine Service Line. The role provides administrative, operational, and coordination support to ensure efficient clinic and service‑line operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project and clinic activities, schedule meetings, assign tasks, and support daily workflow.
• Monitor deadlines and deliverables, report on project and clinic status, and serve as liaison between team members, vendors, and leadership.
• Maintain organized records, meeting notes, project files, and service‑line documentation.
• Order supplies, manage inventory, process invoices, and support purchasing and procurement processes.
• Assist with payroll activities, timekeeping review, and staff schedule management.
• Maintain staff credentials, certifications, equipment maintenance records, and service contracts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in health, business, or a related field, or high school diploma plus four years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
• Ability to handle multiple administrative tasks, communicate effectively across internal teams and external vendors, and maintain accurate documentation.
