Project Controls Engineer III

About the role

The Project Controls Engineer III will coordinate daily planning, scheduling, cost management and performance tracking for environmental projects, working closely with construction teams and field personnel across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, including Work Breakdown Structures.
• Monitor and control project costs, track commitments, prepare cost forecasts and support earned value management analysis.
• Analyze schedule variances, provide corrective actions, and produce regular performance reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Evaluate scope changes, support time and cost impact analyses, and assist with change orders and claims documentation.
• Participate in risk identification, scenario modeling, and contingency management.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of experience in project controls, preferably on environmental remediation, construction or engineering projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in schedule development, cost control, risk analysis and earned value management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 (preferred) or Microsoft Project.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
