Project Controller / Accountant

About the role

Dynamic Group is seeking a Project Controller/Accountant to oversee the financial performance of construction projects from start to finish. You will partner closely with project managers and finance leadership to ensure accurate budgeting, cost tracking, billing, and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, including setup, monitoring, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Track project costs, labor, and expenses to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Assist with preparing work‑in‑progress (WIP) schedules and cost‑to‑complete forecasts.
• Prepare and review client billings, invoices, and revenue recognition in accordance with contract terms.
• Analyze project financial performance and provide regular reports to project managers and leadership.
• Identify financial risks, cost overruns, and opportunities for improved project profitability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and contractual requirements.
• Reconcile project accounts and support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Assist with audits by providing project documentation and financial support.
• Collaborate with project managers to improve cost controls and financial accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in project‑based environments such as construction or engineering.
• Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
