Project Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Project Administrator to support the Project Manager on fabrication manufacturing projects for a metallurgical company in Houston. The role involves coordinating daily activities, maintaining project documentation, and acting as the primary liaison among customers, engineering, production, and quality teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in maintaining project schedules and tracking action items.
• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact between customers, engineering, production, and quality.
• Maintain accurate project files, including purchase orders, work orders, drawings, specifications, and customer correspondence.
• Coordinate and schedule internal meetings, customer calls, and project reviews; prepare agendas and distribute minutes.
• Monitor production schedules against customer due dates and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of quotes, proposals, and contract documentation.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, customer service, or administrative support, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software.
