Project Accountant – Infrastructure

About the role

The Project Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting activities for the SR400 Express Lanes infrastructure project. You will work closely with project teams, vendors and subcontractors to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconcile cost reports for one or more projects.
• Compile and analyze project pay forms to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
• Track insurance and bond information for all subcontractors.
• Assist with month‑end close, budget rearrangements and revisions as directed.
• Set up cost codes and cost types to align with project needs.
• Support field personnel timecard entry, certified payroll and equipment cost tracking.
• Enter onsite invoices, support accounts payable and expedite payments.
• Liaise between the project team, vendors and subcontractors to resolve payment issues.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Solid foundation in construction or project accounting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse project stakeholders.
