About the role
Georgetown University’s Department of Health Management and Policy is seeking a Programmer to support a research project examining Medicaid disparities for type‑2 diabetes. The role involves working with large Medicaid datasets and contributing to policy‑relevant analyses under the guidance of the principal investigator.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from CMS and other sources.
- Construct tables and figures for publications and presentations.
- Collaborate with the PI on research questions and methodology.
- Serve as data custodian and coordinate logistics with the project manager.
- Work with researchers across multiple institutions.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in a data‑related discipline.
- Strong interest in public‑health and policy‑relevant research.
- Experience handling large, complex health datasets.
- Ability to work full‑time on a one‑year, fixed‑term appointment.
