Program Specialist – Assertive Community Treatment (Atlanta)

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Program Specialist to support the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Community Support Team (CST) and Intensive Case Management (ICM) programs across the state. Working under the Office of Adult Mental Health Director and the ACT/CST/ICM Program Manager, you will ensure high‑quality service delivery and policy consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Participate as a team member in monitoring 25 ACT, 10 CST and 15 ICM providers statewide.
• Collaborate on policy development, tool‑kit creation, and fidelity review processes.
• Facilitate clinical operation meetings and fidelity reviews, both on‑site and remotely.
• Develop comprehensive reports, conduct exit interviews, and follow‑up with providers.
• Coordinate statewide travel (approximately 80% of time) for service‑delivery resolution, training, and resource provision.
• Lead provider coalition meetings and office hours to ensure service consistency.
• Provide technical assistance and training on the D.A.C.T.S. model and DBHDD expectations.
• Review monthly programmatic data, analyze trends, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with data analysts on data collection, management, and quality assurance.

Required profile

• Experience in mental‑health program monitoring, evaluation, or administration.
• Ability to travel extensively across Georgia and stay overnight as needed.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of ACT, CST, and ICM service models.
• Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
