Program Manager – Youth Conservation Programs

About the role

MobilizeGreen is looking for a Program Manager to lead its residential Youth Conservation Programs. You will oversee multiple youth cohorts in the National Forest System, ensuring safety, learning outcomes, and alignment with partner goals.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise 2‑3 Program Coordinators and 5+ crew leaders per site.
• Plan, recruit, onboard, and train participants for three‑week summer cohorts.
• Manage logistics, travel, lodging, and meals for staff and participants.
• Oversee data collection, program evaluation, and reporting.
• Travel to host sites for training, quality assurance, and emergency support (≈15% of the year).

Required profile

• Experience leading remote or field‑based teams.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to work in outdoor, wilderness settings.

Required skills

• Wilderness First Aid certification.
• CPR certification.
