Program Manager – Engineering Projects

About the role

Moog’s Engines Business Unit in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking a Program Manager to lead cross‑functional initiatives for highly engineered aerospace and defense products. You will coordinate resources, schedules, and customer communications to ensure successful program delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop program plans and schedules to align all program elements.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and task completion for compliance with program objectives.
• Coordinate with functional managers to assign appropriate resources.
• Maintain day‑to‑day communication with customers to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure all activities meet contract requirements and prepare presentation materials for internal and customer reviews.
• Produce regular status reports highlighting program issues and risks.
• Assist in proposal and change‑order preparation, supporting fact‑finding and negotiations.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field, preferably Engineering.
• 5+ years of program management experience in manufacturing of highly engineered products, preferably aerospace or defense.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with strong emotional intelligence.
• Ability to present program information to customers and internal leadership under pressure.
