Program Manager, Brazil - Trust and Safety

About the role

The Market Risk Management (MRM) team is looking for a Program Manager to lead Trust & Safety initiatives for Brazil. You will combine market data, regional expertise, and cross‑functional insights to develop strategies that protect users and ensure global safety policies work effectively in the Brazilian market.

Key responsibilities

• Produce internal reports on public perception and emerging risks, identify trends, and collaborate across teams to mitigate impact.
• Design and implement risk‑prevention processes for TikTok platforms, focusing on youth safety, hate, cyber‑bullying, and related issues.
• Partner with Content Policy, Product Management, Data Analytics, Operations, Public Policy, and Communications to close safety gaps and improve product features.
• Lead projects across video, live, comments, follows/likes, and accounts, using qualitative and quantitative methods to detect and address community risks.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Brazil‑specific user‑generated content, political, regulatory, and cultural landscape.
• Fluent Portuguese with ability to review case materials and official documents in the local language.
• Deep knowledge of Trust & Safety challenges and operational best practices.
• Experience in program, project, or product management, preferably within safety, risk control, or anti‑spam domains.
