Program Manager – Aerospace & Defense

About the role

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking a Program Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of critical aerospace and defense programs from contract award through hardware and software delivery. Based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will serve as the primary customer liaison and ensure program performance aligns with contractual commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all program activities, acting as the single point of contact for the customer throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Provide regular status updates and performance reports to senior management.
• Lead a matrixed team that includes Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement, Contracts and other shared resources.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget and risk to meet contractual requirements.
• Ensure compliance with export‑control regulations and support security‑clearance processes.

Required profile

• BS degree (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of program management experience in aerospace, defense, or highly engineered manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and deliver complex, high‑impact initiatives.
• Understanding of contractual requirements and scope adherence.
• Ability to operate under pressure while handling multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel as needed and ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
