Program Director - MOPAR/Chrysler Automotive Program

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Gwinnett Technical College, is seeking a Program Director to lead the MOPAR/Chrysler Automotive Program. This full‑time, 12‑month position oversees curriculum design, instruction, recruitment, budgeting, and faculty management.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop curriculum for automotive technology courses.
• Teach a minimum of 15 credit hours per quarter across face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online formats.
• Recruit, advise, and mentor students to ensure retention and program completion.
• Prepare and manage program budgets, request supplies, and maintain certification requirements.
• Coordinate with college committees, professional development activities, and industry partners.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or AAT/AS/AAS in a related field; completion of the MOPAR‑Chrysler Automotive Program or 1+ year dealership experience.
• ASE certifications (minimum G1 and A6) and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
