Program Director, EHR Implementation (Bilingual – English/French Canadian)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Program Director to lead a province‑wide, bilingual (English/French) enterprise EHR implementation. The role will guide a multi‑year transformation, ensuring the unified system is deployed on a single shared instance across a large healthcare network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight for the end‑to‑end EHR deployment, serving as the primary escalation point for risks and decisions.
• Lead steering committee meetings, governance forums and operational reviews with senior healthcare executives, clinical leaders and vendor partners.
• Direct integrated program governance, including scope, change control, financial oversight, issue escalation and resource planning.
• Ensure alignment with contractual commitments, implementation methodology and regulatory compliance.
• Champion evidence‑based, standardized clinical and operational workflows to improve patient safety, provider experience and long‑term sustainability.
• Report program status, milestones, financials and readiness metrics to executive leadership and customer governance bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale healthcare IT deployments, preferably enterprise EHR programs.
• Strong executive communication and change‑management capabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French Canadian.
• Ability to operate in a highly matrixed environment and balance strategic oversight with operational execution.
