Program Director – Associate Degree Nursing

About the role

The State of Georgia seeks a Program Director for its Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program. Reporting to the Dean of Nursing and Life Sciences, you will lead curriculum development, instruction, and overall program management on the Lawrenceville campus.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and update ADN curriculum and course materials.
• Teach a minimum of 19 contact hours per week, including classroom and clinical settings.
• Recruit, advise, and mentor nursing students.
• Manage budgeting, adjunct faculty, and program resources.
• Participate in college committees and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Georgia.
• At least three years of teaching experience in a nursing education program leading to RN licensure.
• Credentialed to satisfy regulatory and accrediting bodies.
• Experience with curriculum design, student evaluation, and outcome assessment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard computer software programs.
• Experience using nursing simulation tools.
