About the role
The Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture (IHA) at Texas A&M AgriLife is seeking a Program Coordinator II to support its Healthy Living program in Dallas. Working under the guidance of the Associate Director, the coordinator will help plan, develop, and implement community‑engaged research projects aimed at reducing health disparities through agricultural solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Healthy Living team to design and execute program initiatives.
- Provide technical, business‑management, administrative, and operational support to program leadership.
- Coordinate project timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate communication between researchers, community partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
Required profile
- Experience in program coordination or project management, preferably in health, agriculture, or research settings.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Required skills
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Basic understanding of budgeting and reporting processes.
