Program Coordinator I – U.S. Space Force Leadership Course

About the role

The Bush School of Government and Public Service is seeking a highly organized Program Coordinator I to support the planning, development, and implementation of the U.S. Space Force Captain’s Leadership Course. The role operates in a dynamic academic environment and requires strong administrative and project coordination abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute program events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, meetings, and workshops.
• Coordinate program communications, marketing, and assist in program evaluation.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, compile program statistics, and maintain records and databases.
• Oversee administrative operations, monitor project timelines, identify issues proactively, and edit/proofread reports and correspondence.
• Supervise program staff and support training initiatives as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of related experience; preferred 2+ years at Texas A&M University, College Station.
• Ability to multitask, work cooperatively, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
