About the role
The Program Coordinator I will support the planning, development, and implementation of Project ROOTS for the Department of Educational Psychology. Working from Houston, the role collaborates with principal investigators, program managers, and literacy coordinators to ensure smooth delivery of services to schools across Texas and Mississippi.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Program Manager in coordinating all aspects of Project ROOTS, including committee meetings and documentation.
- Prepare and manage program correspondence, logistics, travel, and event coordination for seminars, workshops, and special events.
- Maintain program files, databases, shared calendars, timelines, and follow‑up documentation.
- Serve as primary contact for program inquiries and facilitate communication among researchers, tutors, coaches, and school partners.
- Manage inventory, packaging, shipping, and distribution of instructional materials and technology devices.
- Support proposal development for program funding and ensure audit‑ready records.
Required profile
- Experience coordinating educational or grant‑funded projects.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records.
