Program Assistant – 4-H Youth Development

About the role

The Cooperative Extension Service is seeking a Program Assistant to support 4-H and youth development activities in an assigned county. Working under the supervision of a county agent, the assistant will help maintain vibrant 4-H clubs and ensure program operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support 4-H clubs, including periodic attendance at club meetings.
• Develop and sustain working relationships with 4-H leaders, members, and parents.
• Organize and prioritize tasks, manage interruptions, and exercise good judgment in daily activities.
• Adhere to attendance, leave policies, and professional appearance standards.
• Perform clerical duties related to program administration without close supervision.
