Professional Services Trainer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Professional Services Trainer to join our Professional Services team and help utility and local‑government customers adopt Cayenta software solutions. This fully remote position involves delivering engaging training, supporting change management, and traveling to client sites as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver instructor‑led, virtual, and onsite training sessions for end users, administrators, supervisors and system champions.
• Lead train‑the‑trainer workshops to enable customer resources to sustain knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Consultants and implementation teams to create training schedules and readiness plans aligned with project timelines.
• Act as the training lead throughout implementations, ensuring customers are prepared for go‑live activities.
• Provide post‑go‑live refresher training and ongoing learning support.
• Manage training logistics, attendee communications and session documentation.
• Collect participant feedback and training metrics to continuously improve the learning experience.
• Update training materials, job aids and user documentation to reflect product enhancements.
• Travel to customer locations (approximately 25‑50% of the time) across the US, Canada and the Caribbean.

Required profile

• Passion for helping customers adopt new technology and navigate change.
• Strong facilitation and relationship‑building skills.
• Valid passport and eligibility to travel internationally.
• Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI‑enabled tools (copilots, chat assistants, automation) to improve workflows while maintaining security and compliance.
